I am currently working on a project to photograph a series of imagined stills from Pier Paolo Pasolini's film of the life of Saint Paul, a film Pasolini was never able to make. I am always interested in new photographic projects, and enjoy working collaboratively – please feel free to contact me if you have an idea for a project in mind. One of the pleasures of photography for me is its democratic, egalitarian, quotidian quality: most of us own a camera of some sort, even if it is only the one attached to our phone, and most of us enjoy taking and/or looking at pictures. I like 'snaps'! Some of my photographs of activities run by or associated with the Department of English Language and Literature at Bilkent, from theatre productions to poetry readings to in-class workshops, can be found here. (Please note that this website is not an official Bilkent University website.) |
